Great knowledgeable service. One of the springs broke on our 15 year old garage door. Quick response, thorough evaluation and suggested several alternatives to fix or replace the garage mechanism. We elected to install a new single spring system. The tech also, reinforced the motor attachment and provided more structural stability to the entire garage door at NO extra cost. This afternoon I had the pleasure of observing a highly-skilled technician do his thing on our garage door from beginning to end of the project. Guido Valerio was called out to replace broken springs and was precisely on time as per our appointment arrangement. But before completely finishing, he had found/replaced a frayed cable, and a couple other components which were clearly shown to be mismatched or damaged by a previous repairman. Neglecting ANY of these items would have prematurely necessitated another service call. Guido re-aligned the entire opener mechanism and as a result, opening and closing the door now produces silent-running for the first time in two decades of it's operation. A real A-1 job! Great service from Balanced Garage Doors! Called late the evening our old garage door gave up the ghost, and received confirmation of an appointment for noon the next day. Kevin was spectacular, explaining all the options together with relative costs, and installed our new garage door opener in less than two hours. He also lubricated the door hinges, helped me set up my phone--and even my watch--to be able to open and close the doors. The modern units connect to the internet, so even if a family member or guest couldn't get in, we can always open the garage door from wherever we are as long as we have internet access. These units are also much less noisy and the LED lights make the garage a lot easier to navigate after dark. Kevin left the garage cleaner than he found it. All in all, a great experience.
