I called with a broken torsion spring about 3pm on Monday 7-20-2020, and was given an estimate over the phone and was told that a repair crew will come to my home the next morning and give me a firm estimate with no obligation. They showed up around 10am and the estimate was just what was quoted on the phone. I had them replace my broken spring and as a courtesy, they adjusted my door, lubricated my motor and door. TOP NOTCH SERVICE! Tanya with Balanced Garage Doors was super courteous and pleasant when I called to schedule an appointment. On the day of my appointment, Josh called 30 minutes prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time, and was professional, polite, and respectful. He is very knowledgeable, and explained each issue so that I could understand why I had the problems with my garage doors, and what needed to be done to repair them. He gave me a quote prior to doing the service, and once I accepted, he then worked quickly and neatly. I will definitely be using Balanced Garage Doors again, and I highly recommend them! My rollers came off track, so I called BGD to get a quote on repairing my garage door. Kelly answered the phone and was able to dispatch Kevin to fix the door. He was able to find the issue within seconds. Being that my door was so outdated, I ended up deciding to buy a Whole NEW one instead of doing repairs. Kelly was very patient on the phone/emails in helping me select the perfect door. Glenn the owner got involved and was Awesome as well!

Kevin came the next day and did an excellent job. He gave me three options for the repairs--kind of a good, better, best sort of thing. I went with the best, changing out both springs, the side brackets, the center bracket and all the rollers. I had an Angie's List 15% off repairs coupon and, with tax, the total was $458. The repair was done quickly and after all the "builder grade" parts were replaced the door works smoothly and is quieter than before, at least for a garage door. I found Balanced Garage Doors on Google, and it showed up as a "verified" provider or something like this. Looks like this is a program where the provider pays Google for placement and Google verifies quality, background etc. I was very skeptical as this felt like an ad, but the reviews, both the verified ones and the others were very good, I urgently needed to fix a garage door spring, so I decided to give them a call. I called on a Saturday, they said they are available Sunday, and would come by to check what is going on. They said they don't charge for this*. I was given a 2-5 hour window and was told that I will get a call at least 30 minutes before their arrival. On Sunday I got a call around 1:45 telling they are around 45 him - 1 hour away. They arrived as promised, checked what was going on and quoted me a reasonable price. They were also able to immediately replace the spring, they had everything they need in the truck. It took less than an hour. I will definitely use their services again and definitely recommend. *I was not able to verify this because I ended up getting the garage spring replaced during the appointment.
