Our 2 door, steel garage wouldn't open this morning. Routine spring break. We were able to lift the garage door to get the cars out for work. Called Balanced Garage at 7:00AM, they picked up, scheduled an appointment for 12:00PM. Continued to communicate with the office via Yelp messaging for quotes/info. They answered them all. Glenn called at 10:00AM, and said he could come early. Arrived at 11:00AM, provided me all my options. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He worked with my budget and installed new springs, bearings, rollers, and motor. In and out under 2 hours. Garage door opener broke as door was opening and something went flying. Found Balanced Garage Doors online and called them. We had Kevin at our door the next morning and he installed a new opener and keypad and aging hardware in no time, all while explaining everything to me as he went. Very easy to work with. Called late in the evening because our garage door wouldn't work. They set up an appointment immediately and came out to discover the logic board had been damaged. Instead of pushing us to buy an entirely new system, they recommended we contact the manufacturer and request a replacement board and then they offered to come back out and install the board. They didn't even charge us for that visit. Once we got the board (for free), they came back out and installed the board. They were fast and friendly. Their office manager is extremely helpful in scheduling an appointment and the repairman showed up on time and did quality work. After bad experiences with other companies, I am so happy to have found Balanced Garage Doors! Matt B.
